Hello friend.
The holidays are upon us this week.
And I thought it’d be a great time to do a year review.
(Plus, something else that can be interesting for you.)
Let’s do it, shall we?
Main quest 🛡
This year has been the year of many “first time's”.
First time applying stucco on walls, painting them, and redecorating a room.
First time putting glasses to sliding windows (and pretty much helping in several different construction related activities).
First time taking care of hens and chicks while they grow and lay eggs.
First time raising jersey calves all the way to heifers.
First time fencing pastures for cows after the milking process (twice a day).
First time moving hoses from one place to another to give the cows water.
First time discovering what a versatile food milk can be and making subproducts out of it. (Yogurts, cheeses, butter, kefir, spreads, liquid & solid whey, etc)
First time living in the countryside full time.
First time unwillingly living like in the 1700’s.
First time discovering clever ways our ancestors had to deal with different unforeseen situations.
I could keep going on and on but I think you get the point.
A big part of that is due to what I mentioned in the 1st post of the year, the capacity to become independent and self-sufficient so that no single event can throw my life into chaos.
As I do believe that it’s better to be prepared for disasters and that nothing bad happens. Instead of hoping that they don’t happen and then get caught in a tough spot when they do occur.
I started the year not knowing what will happen with my life, not knowing how I would make ends meet, and if all my work from previous years would be for nothing.
Fast forward to today…
I have a productive dairy cattle operation running along with my father, a much healthier lifestyle than being glued to a computer screen for 11-12 hours a day, and growing my online projects (like this newsletter) to new milestones.
Life’s been good. But most importantly, God has been graceful and merciful enough to allow me do and accomplish all that I had this year. 🙏
I’ve also had the blessing to meet new people, collaborate with more talented writers and online builders, make a difference in other people’s lives sharing insights, be part of curated online communities, and learn a TON about different areas & subjects.
I can confidently say that..
And I want to thank you, my friend, for being a part of it.
Through the ups and downs we’ve made it and come a long way till this point.
Thanks for joining the Supercharged Learning HQ and making it a much better place.
There’s so much more room to grow and no matter what the future brings, I know that we can face it with no problems together.
Experiments 🧪
I’m participating in
Notes30 Challenge. (Which is basically posting a Substack note every day for a whole month.)And halfway through I thought… “is there a way to schedule notes for a later date?“
Normally when I get ideas of what to post, I write them down on a Notepad. But I thought there was to be a better way. I did some research and couldn’t find a way to schedule them.
One of the reasons is that Substack doesn’t have any public APIs to automate that process. But with the current progress of agentic AI, I thought there are some options worth exploring.
That’s part of what I’ve been experimenting this week with. There’s nothing certain yet but it looks promising. And if Substack decides to make one of their APIs open for access, it would be even better.
From the vault 🏛️
Speaking of wrap-ups and reviews…
Here’s a “best of” list from the past 50 posts.
There are some “better” than others (from my POV) and others you showed you enjoyed more.
And if you’re newer here, I suggest to take a look at a couple of them to get more context on what we’re about ‘round here. 😉
That’s the Top 10 for you.
That’s all for this time.
Have a great rest of your Sunday.
Merry Christmas. Happy Hannukah. And Happy Festivus for the rest of us!
Cheers,
Juan.

There’s already someone that has programmed a Notes scheduler on Substack. did you not know about it? @finn trophy. He just came out with the newest version. They can be scheduled. They can be saved they can you can have images. You can do it all. It’s a game changer
It would make me so happy if they shared an API and I could schedule with Publer. You had a lot going on this year. Congratulations on accomplishing so much and still having time to share it here! So awesome
